KUWAIT CITY, July 29: The Ministry of Interior has deported several individuals who violated their visit visa terms by overstaying their legal period in the country, along with their sponsors. Despite the validity of their residency permits, these sponsors also faced deportation.


In a statement released today, the Ministry reported that the Residence Affairs Investigations Department arrested these visa violators and their sponsors. The issue arose when several families, who had obtained visit visas for their husbands and children under the “family visit visa” category, exceeded their permitted stay.

The Ministry emphasized that necessary legal measures were taken to deport all involved parties, including the wives, husbands, and children. This action was prompted by the sponsors’ failure to comply with the conditions stipulated in the family visit visa application.

The Ministry of Interior stressed its commitment to enforcing the law rigorously and ensuring accountability for both sponsors and their dependents. It urged all visitors to adhere strictly to their visa conditions and depart the country before their visa expires to avoid legal consequences.
