KUWAIT CITY, July 29: The Ministry of Health is working closely with the Civil Service Commission to address potential conflicts of interest involving employees under the “pay for work” clause. According to sources cited by Al-Anba, the ministry has provided the Civil Service Commission with a list of employees working under this clause to ensure they are not also occupying positions under secondary contracts or receiving bonuses from other government agencies.


The ministry’s action aims to identify any overlapping employment that might present a conflict of interest. This move is part of a broader effort to ensure compliance with employment regulations and to maintain transparency within the government sector.

In addition, the Ministry of Health has recently completed a rotation and redistribution process for employees working under the “pay for work” clause. This process involved the reassignment of staff across various primary healthcare centers, hospitals, health zones, and specialized centers. Over the past week, 485 Kuwaiti administrative employees were redistributed as part of this initiative.

The decision to redistribute employees is intended to promote a fair distribution of human resources, ensure equal opportunities among staff, and improve the quality of services provided at health facilities.
