Head of the Marine Forecasting Department at the Meteorology Department, Yasser Al-Balushi, said that the current dusty weather condition is expected to continue until Monday.

Al Balushi added that the wind speed in general may reach 55 km/h, with a decrease in horizontal visibility, especially from tomorrow morning.

He stated that Sunday the lowest horizontal visibility was recorded in the northwest of the country, where visibility reached 400 meters and ranged between 1,500 and 2,000 meters in residential areas and some coastal areas.

He called on people with respiratory diseases to take precautions when going out, especially with the strong winds and the sudden decrease in horizontal visibility.
