Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Meteorology Department, informed the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that weather maps and numerical models show the country’s impact on a high-air extension. This extension is gradually receding to allow the progress of a surface air depression, accompanied by a warm and humid air mass that coincides with a low-air extension in the upper atmosphere.

Al-Qarawi added that this leads to the multiplication of low and medium clouds interspersed with some cumulus clouds, with opportunities for sporadic rain starting later in the evening until tomorrow afternoon. Then, the chances of rain decrease from tomorrow evening, with the possibility of fog and reduced visibility at night.

However, chances of rain are expected to return from Sunday dawn, intermittently accompanied by thunder in some areas. The weather is generally warm during the day and cooler at night.

He explained that the weather during the day is warm, with variable winds heading northwest and light to moderate speeds ranging between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour. Additionally, there are some scattered clouds, and the expected maximum temperatures range between 25 and 27 degrees Celsius. The sea is light to moderate, with waves between 1 and 3 feet in height.

The Meteorological Department expects the country’s weather to be warm during the day and cold at night over the weekend, with chances of sporadic rain starting on Thursday evening and continuing until tomorrow afternoon, Friday. The chances of rain are expected to return from Sunday dawn.

He stated that the weather tonight will be cold, with clouds gradually increasing. The winds will be variable, heading southeast with light to moderate speeds, occasionally reaching between 10 and 40 kilometers per hour. There is a chance of sporadic rain later, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms at times. The expected minimum temperature is between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves, occasionally reaching heights of 2 to 6 feet.

Regarding the weather on Friday, he reported that it will be mild and partly cloudy with southeastern winds blowing at light to moderate speeds, occasionally reaching between 10 and 40 kilometers per hour.

There is a chance of sporadic rain, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms at times. The expected maximum temperatures range between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves, occasionally reaching heights of 2 to 6 feet.

He pointed out that the weather tomorrow night will be cold, with southeastern winds that are volatile and blowing at light to moderate speeds, ranging between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour.

There is a chance of fog in some areas, which could lead to reduced horizontal visibility. The expected minimum temperature ranges between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius, and the sea will have light to moderate waves, sometimes reaching heights of 1 to 4 feet.
