KUWAIT CITY, March 13: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Bader Hajar Al-Mutairi issued an administrative circular requiring the scrutinization of the educational certificates of both Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees. In the same context, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Planning and Development Affairs at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Munif Al-Hajri announced that the ministry has launched a special platform to check the academic qualifications of both Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees, by the special office manual for examining the educational certificates of Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees.

Meanwhile, Director of the Technical Affairs Department at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and the rapporteur of the committee tasked with supervising the implementation of the Ramadan plan in the ministry Dr. Bader Abu Dhara’ Al- Dhafiri said the Ramadan plan has included in all sectors and departments many faith programs for the month of Ramadan amidst high preparations by qualified and experienced people, while harnessing all the capabilities of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. He said, “All sectors and departments of the ministry cooperate closely with external companies to make this annual season of faith a success. Therefore, one of the most important things that we have become accustomed to doing with the leadership of the ministry is to develop plans to conduct activities and programs for the month of Ramadan.

There are awareness-raising and educational activities, programs, and events aimed at attracting worshipers during the holy month, as well as providing all means to achieve the desired goals. The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, represented by the mosque sector, has prepared several Ramadan centers in which the schedule for Taraweeh prayer and night prayers has been arranged in all governorates. Also, reading, memorizing, and Quranic competitions will be held by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs’ mosque sector. For the Quran recitation project, some mosques were designated and had some memorizers and reciters to recite the Quran and teach it to those who wanted to learn, from the time after the afternoon prayer until before the sunset prayer and after the dawn prayer for an hour for whoever wanted to read the Qur’an correctly. There are sessions for memorizing the Qur’an with the narration of Hafs or other narrations. The mosque sector is fulfilling its mission with nine departments working in full swing to prepare and maintain mosques regularly in the various governorates of the country.
