KUWAIT CITY, March 6: The Criminal Court has sentenced a brigadier general and a lieutenant colonel from the Juvenile Investigation Department to four years of imprisonment with hard labor. This ruling comes in response to charges of torturing two juveniles and subjecting them to cruelty. The Public Prosecution accused the defendants of using torture and physical violence against the juveniles to coerce confessions and obtain information related to a felony case. The juveniles admitted to not recalling the circumstances surrounding a video clip linked to the case, prompting the defendants to resort to such measures.
