Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the EG.5 sub-variant of the COVID-19 virus has been detected in Kuwait. Emergence of new mutations of the virus is common and is not a cause for concern and people are urged to avoid public contact in case of any symptoms.
