കുവൈത്ത് സിറ്റി: കുവൈത്തിൽ സിവിൽ ഐ.ഡി കാർഡുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിലെ കാലതാമസം അവസാനിച്ചതായി പബ്ലിക് അതോറിറ്റി ഫോർ സിവിൽ ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ ഡയറക്ടർ ജനറൽ ഡോ. മൻസൂർ അൽ മുത്തീൻ അറിയിച്ചു.നിലവിൽ അപേക്ഷ ലഭിച്ചത് മുതൽ പരമാവധി രണ്ട് മുതൽ മൂന്ന് ദിവസങ്ങൾക്കകം കാർഡുകൾ ഇഷ്യു ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. കാർഡുകൾ തയ്യാറായാൽ സഹേൽ ആപ്പ്, My Identity ആപ്പ് എന്നിവ വഴി ഉടമകൾക്ക് അറിയിപ്പ് ലഭിക്കും. ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വകുപ്പുകളുമായി സഹകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് സിവിൽ ഐ. ഡി കാർഡുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിനുള്ള പുതിയ സംവിധാനം സജീവമാക്കിയതായും അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. പുതിയ സംവിധാനം സജീവമാക്കിയതോടെ പ്രതി ദിനം പതിമൂന്നായിരം കാർഡുകളാണ് ഇഷ്യു ചെയ്യുന്നത്. നിലവിൽ മെഷിനുകളിൽ നിന്നും കാർഡുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ പൗരന്മാരും താമസക്കാരും ഉൾപ്പെടെ വൻ ജനക്കൂട്ടമാണ് എത്തുന്നത്. അതെസമയം മെഷിനുകളിൽ തയ്യാറായ സിവിൽ ഐ.ഡി കാർഡുകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ വൈകുന്നവർക്ക് എതിരെ പിഴ ചുമത്താൻ അധികൃതർ ആലോചിച്ചു വരികയാണ്. ആവശ്യമായ കരാറുകൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ശേഷം സിവിൽ ഐ. ഡി കാർഡുകളുടെ ഹോം ഡെലിവറി സേവനം പുനരാരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടികൾ ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്നും അധികൃതർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
