Kuwait City; Kuwait has decided to conduct a drug test for those arriving on new visas to the country. Verification will be made mandatory for existing visa holders at the time of visa renewal. It is planned to include alcohol-free test in the pre-visa health check. Suspect residents will also be screened. It is decided to deport such people if it is found that intoxicants have been used during such an examination. The project is being planned jointly by the Ministries of Health and Home Affairs with the aim of eradicating drug addiction and limiting its spread. In coordination with the Criminal Evidence Department, a special system will also be set up for inspection. The Ministerial Council approved the concept prepared by health and safety experts.
