Kuwait City: Biometric verification is coming to renew the residence record of expatriates in Kuwait. It is reported that the new decision may be implemented soon. All expatriates who have completed the age of 18 will be subjected to biometric verification from now on. The Ministry of Home Affairs is preparing a plan in this regard. Currently, biometric verification has been started for newly arriving expats in the country. In the same model, it has been decided to link the visa renewal procedures with the biometric verification system. At present, there are about twenty lakh expatriates above the age of 18 living in the country. The ministry estimates that it will take six months to one year to complete the biometric verification of such people. For this, it has been decided to introduce a system of prior appointment through the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
