Kuwait City: There may be a change in the way medicine is sold to expatriates in hospitals and clinics in Kuwait. Instead of charging a fixed fee of five dinars for medicines, the move is to change the pricing structure. In this regard, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, Minister of Department, Dr. Ahmed Al Awdhi is about to submit. A local daily published the news about this. The new decision comes at a time when the consumption of medicines in the ministry's health centers and hospitals continues to be significant despite the imposition of fixed fees. The report also states that there have been incidents of non-residents not paying fees for X-ray and other medical equipment. The current decision of the Ministry is to solve such problems and improve the pricing system in the sale of medicines to non-residents.
