KUWAIT CITY: The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior is bringing new regulations to issue driving licenses to expatriates in Kuwait. It will be submitted to the Minister of Interior for approval after the formation of the new government. The new provision is that the minimum wage of non-residents applying for driving license will be increased. Only those engaged in certain professions are allowed to get a driving license. The aim is to reduce congestion on the road. The traffic department will also issue decisions regarding the technical inspection of vehicles. There will be decisions including stopping the registration of 20000 vehicles that are more than 15 years old.
