The firefighting unit managed to control an apartment fire in the Hawally area, Friday evening, without causing any major injuries.

The Public Relations and Media Department of the Fire Service stated that the Operations Department directed firefighting teams from Hawally and Salmiya centers, after a fire incident was reported on the fourth floor of an apartment building in Hawally.

The teams evacuated the building residents, and put out the fire without causing any major injuries.
