Kuwait: 31,000 traffic violations were reported in Kuwait in the last one week. The violations were discovered during an inspection conducted under the supervision of Major General Jamal Al-Sayeg, Assistant Undersecretary for Operations and Traffic Affairs, Ministry of Interior. The traffic department has been conducting many safety checks like this for the last one week. During the inspection, the team nabbed 40 reckless drivers and referred 96 vehicles to the detention garage. 77 minors caught for driving without driving license were also sent for juvenile prosecution. Legal action was taken against 270 people who used mobile phones while driving and 293 people who did not wear seat belts.
