Kuwait is preparing to conduct smart recruitment. Recruitment is done for 20 professional posts. The plan is to conduct a smart test to check the skills of the candidates. The Public Authority of Manpower has informed that it is enough to recruit only those who are eligible after conducting the skill test in the respective countries.
The law, which has been implemented on a pilot basis for some teaching jobs (teachers training differently-abled children), will be extended to 20 posts including IT and engineering by the end of the year. The aim is to remove the population imbalance and bring only the best people into the country. Kuwait embassies in foreign countries will lead the inspection. Another condition is that those who pass a practical test after arriving in Kuwait can get a work permit.
