Kuwait's latest labor market statistics show that the number of workers in the public and private sectors has reportedly increased by 30,973 in three months. Statistics released by the Central Bureau of Statistics revealed that the number of Kuwaiti workers in both sectors increased by 3,734 by the end of June 2022. The number of non-Kuwaitis in the labor market increased to 27,239.

The total number of workers in June 2022 is 1,915,865. 438,559 Kuwaitis and 1,477,306 non-Kuwaitis; The number of workers in the private sector was 1,458,716 while the number of workers in the government sector was 457,149. The number of male workers in the labor market was 1,489,517 compared to 426,348 female workers. The Ministry of Education has the largest workforce in the government sector with 133,101; The Ministry of Health followed closely behind with 63,501.
