Kuwait: Three ships of the Indian Navy will visit Kuwait from October 4 to October 7. Two indigenously built ships of the Indian Navy, the first training squadron INS TIR and INS Sujata and the indigenously built Indian Coast Guard ship Charathi will arrive at Shuwaikh port in Kuwait on Tuesday. It is hoped that the goodwill visit of the naval vessels will help strengthen the multilateral friendly relationship and growing cooperation between Kuwait and India.

During the stay, the crews of the Indian naval vessels are expected to interact with the Kuwaiti Navy on the nuances of maritime operations, including ways to combat maritime terrorism and piracy.


In view of the overwhelming response from the Indian community members to visit the naval vessels, the Indian Embassy has once again allotted time slots to those who registered with complete information. In this regard, a confirmation email has been sent to all registered members with necessary instructions along with re-allotted time slots, the Indian Embassy said in a press release on Monday.
