The Ministry of Health has announced the official working hours for its departments during the holy month of Ramadan through a newly issued administrative circular.

According to the directive, employees at the Ministry’s General Office and all administrative departments not directly involved in delivering healthcare services will work from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, working hours for hospitals, specialized medical centers, and primary healthcare centers that are directly engaged in providing medical services have been scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The circular also clarified that technical departments and certain primary healthcare centers with special operational requirements are exempt from these fixed hours. Their duty timings will continue to be organized based on approved fingerprint attendance schedules, ensuring alignment with the operational demands and specialized nature of their work, including early preparedness and 24-hour service where necessary.

The Ministry emphasized that these arrangements are aimed at maintaining efficient healthcare delivery while accommodating the spirit and working conditions of the Ramadan period.
