Position: - Procurement Officer

Job Description:
• Direct all aspects of supply chain management function, including procurement, shipping / receiving, and property control.
• Define and implement annual goals; identify and address improvement opportunities.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders; manage supplier relationships and promote minority business program.
• Supervise person cross-functional team, bid solicitation / award and policy development; manage budget; hold authority on contracts.
• Interpret complex policies and laws to support process development.
• Spearheaded initiative to turn around supply chain / procurement group at critical DOE laboratory.
• Crafted procurement value proposition targeting cost savings, customer service, and contractual / regulatory compliance.
• Prepared program operating budgets, budget reports, and other financial reports.
• Analyzed contract performance for bids, budgets, and forecasts.

Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of same domain experience
