Position: HVAC Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Handle HVAC engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering and estimation to execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Prepare HVAC BOQs, quantity take-offs, material take-offs, cost estimates, and technical and commercial tender submissions.
Review and prepare HVAC shop drawings, duct layouts, chilled water piping layouts, equipment layouts, and as-built drawings.
Perform and review HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing as required.
Handle Technical Office documentation, including material submittals, technical submittals, RFIs, method statements, and coordination drawings.
Review project specifications, tender documents, contracts, and drawings to identify scope requirements, discrepancies, and potential variations.
Coordinate HVAC systems with electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP disciplines.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
Monitor material requirements, technical compliance, project progress, and cost control.
Support procurement, site execution, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and final project handover.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in HVAC engineering within construction or MEP contracting.
Strong experience in HVAC estimation, tendering, BOQ preparation, and quantity take-offs.
Proven experience in Technical Office activities and managing HVAC works from project initiation to final handover.
Excellent ability to read, review, and prepare HVAC drawings and technical documents.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, ventilation, and equipment selection.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit and HVAC design/calculation software is an advantage.
Strong technical, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
