🆕 General Ledger (GL) Accounting Manager

📍 Location: Kuwait
🇰🇼 Local Hiring

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial GL role
• CMA or equivalent professional qualification highly preferred
• Retail, FMCG or multi-entity experience is an advantage
• Advanced experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls and accounting standards
• Proven leadership and people-management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain and optimize the Chart of Accounts
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and CapEx tracking
• Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statements
• Conduct variance analysis
• Coordinate with AP, AR, Costing and other finance functions
• Maintain internal controls and support external audits
• Ensure compliance with IFRS / US GAAP and relevant corporate tax requirements
• Lead and develop the GL accounting team
