Purchasing Representative Required – Applicants Must Be Currently Residing in Kuwait
A leading company specializing in restaurants, catering, and food services is looking for:
Purchasing Representative
Requirements & Responsibilities:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the restaurant and food industry.
• Experience in purchasing food products, beverages, packaging materials, and operational supplies.
• Salary: KD 500–600, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Sourcing suppliers and negotiating prices and terms.
• Reviewing quotations and comparing prices and quality before purchasing.
• Issuing and following up on purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitoring inventory and coordinating with the warehouse and management to ensure required items are available.
• Following up with suppliers, invoices, and outstanding payments in coordination with the Accounting Department.
• Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate for the best prices.
• Good knowledge of local market prices and suppliers in Kuwait.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A valid Kuwaiti driving license is preferred.
• Ability to use a vehicle for purchasing-related errands and supplier visits.
• Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Applicants must be currently residing in Kuwait.
