Location: kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement & Tendering Officer to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for international sourcing, government and oil & gas tendering, commercial costing, supplier management, shipping coordination, and client follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage international sourcing and develop suppliers across Europe, Asia, USA and GCC.
* Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times and warranties.
* Finalize supplier payment terms and commercial/contract terms in coordination with management and relevant departments.
* Prepare competitive commercial quotations and tender submissions for KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, KGOC, EQUATE, CAPT and other government/semi-government entities.
* Prepare landed-cost calculations, pricing, margins and bid comparison sheets.
* Coordinate bid bonds, performance bonds, vendor registrations and pre-qualifications.
* Manage international shipments, Incoterms, freight, customs clearance and shipping documentation.
* Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, Finance and internal departments.
* Maintain supplier and tender databases and monitor tender outcomes.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and business partners.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers/products.
* Ensure tender submissions are accurate, complete and submitted within deadlines.

Requirements
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
✔️ 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, tendering or commercial roles.
✔️ Strong experience with KOC, KNPC, KIPIC, KGOC, EQUATE, CAPT or similar Kuwait government/oil & gas entities is highly preferred.
✔️ Strong knowledge of international sourcing, shipping, Incoterms, LC/TT and Kuwait customs procedures.
✔️ Excellent negotiation, costing and commercial analysis skills.
✔️ Excellent written and spoken English. Arabic is an advantage.
✔️ Strong MS Excel and ERP skills (SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar).
✔️ Valid Kuwait Driving Licence and transferable Article 18 residency will be an advantage.
✔️ CIPS, CSCP, CPSM or similar professional certification is preferred.
