WE ARE HIRING | CATEGORY MANAGER – FASHION ACCESSORIES
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Category Manager – Fashion Accessories to join our team in Kuwait.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fashion accessories buying, category management, merchandising, supplier negotiation, and inventory planning, with a proven ability to drive sales, profitability, and product performance.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute category strategies across jewelry, handbags, belts, scarves, and eyewear.
• Analyze fashion trends and build commercially strong seasonal assortments.
• Source and manage international and regional suppliers and negotiate pricing, margins, terms, lead times, and exclusivity.
• Manage Open-to-Buy, GMROI, inventory turnover, markdowns, and product lifecycle.
• Monitor sales and inventory performance and take corrective actions on slow- and fast-moving products.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, E-commerce, and Operations to maximize product visibility and sales.
🔹 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Luxury Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in fashion accessories buying, category management, or merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of retail forecasting, OTB, inventory management, and merchandise planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, materials, product construction, and consumer behavior.
• Proven experience in international sourcing, supplier negotiation, agent management, and freight coordination.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
