Job Opportunity: Electronic Technician – MWD/LWD

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician – MWD/LWD to support the maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic equipment and downhole tools used in Measurement While Drilling (MWD) / Logging While Drilling (LWD) operations. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of electronic systems and experience working with MWD/LWD equipment in an oilfield environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of MWD/LWD electronic equipment
- Diagnose and resolve electronic and electrical equipment issues
- Conduct functional testing and calibration of MWD/LWD tools and components
- Prepare and maintain accurate equipment maintenance and service records
- Assist with inspection, assembly, disassembly, and servicing of electronic tools
- Identify faulty components and carry out necessary repairs or replacements
- Ensure equipment is properly tested and ready for field operations
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements
- Coordinate with field engineers and operations teams regarding equipment readiness
- Maintain proper documentation of repairs, testing, and equipment status
- Support workshop and field operations as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Electronic Technician or similar role
- Experience with MWD/LWD equipment and systems
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, testing, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience using electronic test and diagnostic equipment
- Good understanding of electrical and electronic components
- Good communication and reporting skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to work in field/workshop environments and follow operational requirements

Preferred:
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Oilfield Services
Previous experience with MWD/LWD tools and downhole systems
- Experience with electronic testing, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of drilling-related electronic equipment
Previous experience with major oilfield service companies is an advantage
