Position: Rotating Mechanical Technician
Location: Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Rotating Mechanical Technician with a minimum of 6 years of experience in oil & gas production facilities or refineries. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of rotating and static mechanical equipment while ensuring full compliance with QHSE standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
General:
Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within oil & gas production facilities or refineries
Experience working under Permit to Work (PTW) systems and strict QHSE requirements
Ability to coordinate with Mechanical & Compression Supervisors for maintenance activities
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for planning, scheduling, and maintenance records
Strong knowledge of mechanical hand tools and repair equipment
Good understanding of shaft alignment methods and alignment equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible to work shifts based on operational requirements

Rotating Equipment:
Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of:
Centrifugal pumps (single-stage & multistage)
Chemical injection pumps
Air-operated diaphragm pumps
Experience in dismantling, installing, and maintaining different types of mechanical seals and seal plans
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Gas Engine Compressors, including oil changes, cooling water systems, oil filters, spark plugs, and auxiliary equipment
Maintenance and repair of Screw Compressors
Routine predictive and corrective maintenance of Gas Turbines
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Fan Coolers
Static Equipment:
Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of:
Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
Plate Heat Exchangers
Filters & Strainers
Piping Systems
Flanges & Valves

Maintenance Activities:
Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on rotating and static equipment
Conduct inspections, alignment, testing, verification, and commissioning after repairs
Ensure all maintenance work complies with company procedures and QHSE standards

Education Requirements:
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification
Relevant mechanical certifications or vocational training will be an added advantage
