Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Food Import, Distribution & Brand Development

Kline Food Group is seeking an exceptional executive leader to build and lead a new food import and distribution company focused on introducing premium international food brands to Kuwait and the GCC market.

This is a rare opportunity to build a business from the ground up with strong financial backing, executive autonomy, and a long-term growth vision.

About the Opportunity

We are building a company with the ambition to become a leading importer, brand developer, and distributor of food products across Kuwait and the GCC.

The successful candidate will work directly with ownership and be responsible for developing the strategy, securing international supplier relationships, building retail partnerships, recruiting key talent, and driving the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure high-potential international food brands and products

• Develop strategic relationships with manufacturers and suppliers worldwide

• Negotiate distribution and exclusive representation agreements

• Build partnerships with co-operatives, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and retail chains

• Develop and execute commercial, sales, and growth strategies

• Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing team

• Establish scalable operational systems and processes

• Drive profitability, market expansion, and long-term enterprise value

Ideal Candidate

• Proven executive experience in FMCG, food distribution, food import, consumer goods, or retail sectors

• Strong understanding of the Kuwait and GCC food market

• Demonstrated success launching and scaling brands and distribution businesses

• Existing relationships within retail and distribution channels are highly desirable

• Strong leadership, commercial, and negotiation skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build organizations from the ground up
