Required for a Logistics company in Kuwait, chief Accountant (recruitment from inside Kuwait only)

About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to join our custom clearance & logistics company in Kuwait.

Role Description
The Chief Accountant will oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, prepare financial statements, and manage budgets.
Key responsibilities also include monitoring cash flow, reconciling accounts, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
The role requires leadership in supervising a team and collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, including leadership experience.
* Experience in logistics, custom clearance, transportation, or freight forwarding is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and ERP systems.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
* Fluency in English; familiarity with Arabic language is a plus.
* Must be currently residing in Kuwait.
* Available for immediate joining.
