"We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with a minimum of 6 years of experience in oil & gas production facilities or refineries. The selected candidate will be responsible for safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in compliance with site and industry standards in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
General:
-Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical discipline within oil & gas production facilities or refineries
-Familiar with PTW systems, confined space entry, electrical isolations, operating integrity, H2S / SO2, and PPE requirements
-Strong knowledge of Electrical PPE and protection practices
Generators:
-Ability to start and synchronize generators with other running generators
-Strong troubleshooting knowledge of generators
-Experience with Gas Turbine Generators is an added advantage

Switchgear:
-Experience in preventive maintenance of ABB MV & LV breakers
-Ability to troubleshoot MV breakers
-Safe working practices while handling MV breakers
-Experience in PM & CM of LV Air Circuit Breakers
-Experience in PM & CM of power transformers

Motor Starters:
-Hands-on experience with Medium Voltage VFDs
-Hands-on experience with Medium Voltage Soft Starters
-Hands-on experience with Low Voltage VFDs

Protection Systems:
Ability to handle protection relays including:
-Feeder protection
-Generator protection
-Motor protection
-Transformer protection

Education Requirements:
-Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification


-Relevant electrical certifications or vocational training will be an advantage
