We are looking for a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
- Prepare and process monthly salaries & payroll, ensuring accuracy & compliance with company policies
- Develop and manage annual leave plans and monitor leave utilization
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans
- Develop training and development programs
- Assist in performance management processes
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
QUALIFICATIONS
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Professional HR qualification and membership to a HR body or equivalent
• At least 3 year’s hands on human resources management experience.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams across various sites
• Knowledge of Kuwait Labors law and practices
• Knowledge of employee relations policies, procedures and experience in their implementation.
• Experience in implementing Human Resources Management Information Systems.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Transferable article 18 residential visa
• Good communication and writing skills in Arabic and English
