We are hiring a Chief Accountant for one of our clients based in Kuwait !

Location: On-site – Kuwait
Work Type: Full-time

🔹Must be living in Kuwait.

🔹Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
-Review general ledger activities and ensure accurate posting and documentation.
-Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
-Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
-Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance indicators.
-Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
-Coordinate with external auditors for audits, compliance, and financial review.
-Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
-Supervise and mentor junior accountants to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

🔹Job Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
✔Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
✔Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial cycles.
✔Hands-on experience in financial reconciliation, closing, and reporting.
✔Excellent command of MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
✔Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
✔Ability to manage workload, deadlines, and financial priorities effectively.
✔Previous experience in the Kuwaiti market is preferred.
