1. JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Supermarket Sales Representative Reports to: Retail Sales Supervisor Department: Sales Supermarket Location: Kuwait Grade: 7 2. JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
To pursue sound business opportunities enabling sustained client satisfaction and promote long-term relationships. To leverage industry expertise and the competencies of an extended team to meet client needs. 3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Key Priority – Key Activities KPIs ▪Account Handling
▪Develop and recommend handling of assigned account based on SWOT analysis, market intelligence, pricing strategies, JV/Partnerships, demographics etc.
▪Market intelligence and research
▪Budget Planning
▪Develop and recommend budgets to senior management for approval.
▪Overseas sales operations in order to ensure achievement of budget through building customer relationships, effective merchandising, and effective management of availability of stock and promotions
▪Budget planning, monitoring and Budget achievement.
▪Account management
▪Manage multiple accounts and large portfolio to achieve increased sales targets and product quotas.
▪Follow up products expiry date to ensure effective management of availability of stock in customers display
▪Sales targets and profitability.
▪Sales Agreements
▪Negotiate terms of sale agreements, variations in price, delivery and specifications, and collect fund and close sales transactions with assigned account portfolio
▪Negotiation to safeguard Aujan’s interest.
▪Business and implementation plans
▪Design annual business and implementation plans to support selling to new and existing accounts.
▪Design product promotion planning, and implementation plans to support selling to new and existing accounts.
▪Oversees assets, ensuring requirements are budged for and key accounts benefit from all required POS equipment, coolers, and display material.
▪Annual business plans.

▪Feedback from key accounts
▪Sales and Marketing Plans
▪Review sales and marketing plans with customers and vendors.
▪Country plans are developed, implemented and communicated
▪Brand visibility
▪Oversee and monitor company compliance activities related to branding, partnerships etc. to ensure Aujan’s increased visibility.
▪Company compliance monitoring.
▪Market Awareness
▪Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the market related to competitors, products, discounts etc.
▪Market Intelligence and understanding.
▪Market Development
▪Monitors and analyse competitor activity and plans market penetration for accounts, as well as sets directions for customer events and promotions.
▪Increase in market share.
▪Legislation Awareness
▪Good understanding of legal legislation specific to country of operation so that risk can be mitigated as part of the sales plan.
▪Contractual and legal understanding to safeguard Aujan’s interest.
▪Sales Training
▪Train and coach sales & merchandising teams on implementation of sales plan activities in order to ensure cross organizational alignment.
▪Coaching and mentoring. 4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
▪Diploma degree in Business related discipline
Minimum Experience:
▪Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Sales or Marketing. Preferred experience in FMCG.
