Responsibilities
Perform other special projects as determined and assigned
Identify accounting issues, research solutions, form conclusions and present to management
Completes individual analytical and ad hoc projects in a satisfactory manner given abstract project guidelines
Supporting financial and tax audit requests for information and insight
Process improvement & make recommendations
Observe and audit selected store inventories on sight
Reconciliation, updating, reporting, booking and other activities related to retail inventory process including research and follow-up on store physical inventory discrepancies
Monthly review and booking of retail inventory adjustments
Resolve store in-transit/inventory problems
Monthly reconciliation of book to perpetual inventory and monthly review of store inventory accounts
Qualifications for retail accountant
At least 8-12 years experience in a similar accounting role, within a multinational company strongly preferred
Comfortable using technology such computer and mobile apps
Preparing domestic tax report
Creating solutions for technical issues In cooperation with IT team
Implementing SOX test of responsible area
Merging the separate information on Sales flowing from departments and the system
