Urgently Required Mechanic for O&G field

General Duties & Responsibilities:
- Abides by company by-laws including policies and procedures.
- Mechanical maintenance and upgrade of all trucks and vehicles (upon request of management).
Operational Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation of a schedule related to the truck listing all needs and upgrade requirements of trucks.
- Monitors the truck condition related to exterior physical structure, wheel conditions and lifecycle, engine, and overall condition of the trucks.
- Utilizes equipment and tools to direct or participate in the maintenance of trucks.
- Updating the schedule related to individual trucks and the servicing delivered detailing all work performed and parts utilized in terms of replacements, upgrades, fixing etc.
- Reporting progress of work on a daily basis to the Chief Mechanic.

- Participates in meetings with Field Operators and Field Engineers to identify and register their concerns, observations and actions required as part of Technical & Maintenance.
- Ensures the application and adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
- Performs responsibilities and tasks assigned by the Chief Mechanic.
- Attends courses and increases knowledge with respect to new trucks, new developments and advancements to increase efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery to in-house customers such as the Operations Department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Preferable diploma from a technical institution
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience and/or training in similar function and industry
Required Skills:
- General knowledge of mechanical equipment and components
- Good physical health and strength
Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams.
