Summary
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Epicure standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Restaurant Manager is responsible to manage the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit center, in line with the outlet’s operating concept and Company standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the outlet.

Responsibilities

Select, train, evaluate, plan schedules and ensure high employee performance, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Restaurant to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
Manage the Restaurant's Dining operation.
Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns, or special requests for guests.
Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Describe and ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Work closely with the Operation Manager, and assigned Head Chef to maintain effective menu and amenity options while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price and attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment in the restaurant and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. Inspect the restaurant for spot checks.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.


Qualifications

4+ years of previous experience in a similar role in Kuwait.
Fluent level in Arabic & English both written and spoken.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
