Del Monte Kuwait for General Trading of Foodstuff is excited to announce that we are currently seeking a highly qualified and professional Chief Accountant to join our esteemed organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, finance, costing, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in similar roles, ideally within a multinational company.

Key Responsibilities:

- The supervision of accounting department and operation of methods and systems for measuring and reporting statutory financial statements, ensuring their integrity, accuracy, reliability and timeliness.
- The development and operation of the procedures and systems to make payments, collect monies and post, record and authorize transactions and provisions.
- To ensure the transaction systems accurately and reliably process the revenues and expenses of the business in compliance with SOX guidelines.
- The application of appropriate accounting principles to generate accounting records that support both local IFRS and US GAAP requirements.

Equipment’s/Tools used:

· SAP
· COGNOS
· Excel
· MS Office

Qualifications:

· Accounts qualification and 5+ years’ experience
· Experience of Receivables, Payable and Treasury accounting
· Audit and Internal Controls exposure
· Reporting skills
· Strong excel knowledge
· Time Management skills
· Ability to prioritize and organize
· Excellent communication skills in English
· Leadership
· Management skills
