The candidates should be able to:
1. Provides Level 1 support.
2. Receives and responds to user requests, providing users with technical support.
3. Receives and coordinates, as needed, all levels of technical questions from users.
4. Documents all user requests and enters status data from user calls into the Help Desk application.
5. Establishes and maintains effective lines of communication with end-users throughout the lifecycle of their issue or service request.
6. Monitors and resolves entry-level issues relating to systems, network, Security.
7. Leverage best practices, common IT solutions and innovative technologies across the enterprise
8. Works with vendors on hardware warranty issues.
9. Major Incident Management role: level 1 escalation of major incidents
o Responsible for the lifecycle of a major incident
o Document restoration steps
o Provide formal incident review write-up upon restoration of service
10. Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the Role.
