Wanted 1 (One) Full time Support Engineer for RFID based tracking system of gas cylinders.

Place of work: Kuwait

Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Electronics/ IT/ Industrial Engineering or similar. Accredited by Kuwait Engineers Society.

Requirements: We need someone who has experience managing a server: Windows and/or Linux. The individual is to perform hand-to-do software and hardware troubleshooting under instructions. The candidate should be competent person who is responsive and conscientious, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with software and systems.

The scope of work would be as follows:

Being physically present and available to client staff during hours of plant operation and outside hours of operation.

Follow client instructions regarding use, maintenance and service of client supplied hardware and software.

Accepting enquiries from client staff solve issues, provide responses promptly and efficiently and escalation of issues if necessary to senior Client staff.

Maintain client supplied RFID hardware on site. Ensure proper adjustment of sensors and antennas.

Change broken HDDs, broken power supplies, broken UPS batteries.

Check the conditions of network hardware in the sub net (physical/configuration) and conditions of the RFID readers and their switches (physical/test software)

Update documentation as needed

Keep Client software stack running. After completion of the training course, Client will be able to assess the status of the software and perform any necessary restarts.

Training would be provided to the individuals selected and hands on work would be done either independently or remotely under expert direction.

Individuals must be very good English and Arabic speakers (Bilingual understanding in spoken and written English and spoken Arabic is a must).
