Responsibilities
· Supervises and coordinates daily accounting operations within the Finance and Accounting Department to support the achievement of the overall departmental goals and objectives.
· Manages and provides expertise across the full spectrum of financial accounting roles.
· Reviews all Accruals & Prepaid for expenses.
· Prepare monthly TB & Financial statements.
· Performing monthly reviews of all journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
· Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
· Collaborate with other members of the Group Finance team to align processes, policies and controls with those of the Group, to improve efficiency while maintaining strong internal controls;
· Support the implementation of a new Group-wide ERP system, ensuring integrity of financial transactions and fulfilment of reporting requirements;
· Analytical reviewing for the petty cash expenses and other cost and raising the report to the Finance Manager.
· Evaluates and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Strong command of English & Arabic languages

Experience
Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant/Senior Accountant preferred in a Manufacturing/Distribution Organization.

Skills
Possess well developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills.
Excellent analytical and time management skills.
Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with superior numeric skills.
Must be result and profit oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations and perform multifaceted projects.
Excellent computer skills on MS Office
Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software (ERP’s) and databases (preferably JDE.)
