Senior HVAC Engineer

Job Description

Site Job Description / Responsibilities:

Review / Design of Mechanical or HVAC systems for health care application.

Supervise and co-ordinate for supply, installations of mechanical services for HVAC / ACMV (Air-conditioning units and Mechanical fans) including all trade of works.

Plan and execute all installation, testing and commissioning works through technical and operational supports.

To support and assist in air-conditioning system design layout, amend of shop drawings and as-built drawings.

To support and assist in projects installation, servicing and maintenance under contract basis.

Do inspection of purchased equipment

Over-see site testing and commissioning procedures on site quality control of piping and System Integrator (HVAC equipment / chillers)

Co-ordinate with Project Engineer in notifying customers of any changes in design, documentation, planning, schedule or services performed.

Ensure all engineering designs, technical drawings and appropriate standards used are properly documented.

Liaise with consultant, Vendors and client on day to day basis on project issues.

Skills

10 : 15 Years working experience in project executing, coordination, planning and scheduling and site supervision of Mechanical and HVAC system.

Should have capability of diagnosing analyzing and troubleshooting faults and malfunctions.

Expertise in materials and spare parts, or units related to HVAC.

Hand on experience in Central AC Systems, Chillers, Cooling towers, AHU, Split Air Conditioner , Window Air Conditioner , Package Air Conditioner , Cold Storages, Domestic Refrigeration units.

experience in Execution, Maintenance, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.

Extensive knowledge of HVAC Design/Installation.

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Good knowledge of contracts terms and conditions.
